Kamili Designs was founded in 1996 by Stephanie Hooper and Penny
Sandys-Lumsdaine. They originally started it as a way of providing employment for single Kenyan mothers.
All of our colourful home furnishings are hand screen printed and painted on 100% Kenyan cotton using beautiful dies which have been hand mixed in the workshop.
The designs are original and authentic, inspired by the African wildlife and nature which surrounds Kenya.
A wide range of home furnishings are available, from oven gloves and aprons to curtains and cushions which have been hand crafted and stitched at the Kamili workshop in Karen.
So come and take a look at the wonderful things we have on display in our show room and see how all our items are hand made in our workshop.
